everything that glitters is not gold… but in the world of Todd Fiscus and Rob Dailey, everything they touch turns to gold. This pair has changed the way I think about life and work, it’s all one thing for them. Between the two, they have worked together on an array of companies from parties to restaurants to pr and each one done beautifully. They dabble in a little of everything - visit their directory of ventures here and expect many more posts about what they are up to in the future. Today I’m lucky enough to share with you their home. Please savor every detail. It is pure gold.

Notice the amazing ceiling treatments and architectural elements throughout the house. I’m very into ceiling alternatives right now…they can completely transform a room or change the height of a ceiling. I really love the way rustic elements are paired with more refined materials and pieces, it gives this home a feeling of rich history and exquisite taste yet keeps it approachable and comfortable.

Rob is an interior designer (among many other things) and I admire his ability to “decorate” a space without leaving the wretched “decorator was here” stamp. His execution is flawless. He has a way of pulling together spaces that feel like they have evolved over time. Their divine collection of found objects from around the world is incorporated so thoughtfully and appropriately in every aspect of the home. Enjoy.

Fabulous home. I wonder where it is in Dallas? Is that pony skin on the rounded back French chairs? Really, I am in love.

What a beautiful beautiful home. I love the contrast of large, rustic furniture in combination with small details like the peculiar little statues. And love the colour scheme, of course. Very down to earth and serene.

What is that amazing image behind the sofa? It’s positively alive with drama. This home leaves me breathless. You certainly have a rather special roster of talented friends, Samantha.
