
since I plan to spend much of my weekend by the pool… I thought it was time to bring these beauties out. I’ve been waiting to share this for a while now. I first saw Barbara Cole’s work in an Anthropologie eblast and fell in love with it immediately. It’s so beautiful and ethereal. She worked with Anthro to create a video that you HAVE to check out. birthdays are fun. I love getting people together for dinner or any other reason but I especially enjoy intimate dinner parties and this was a great one. It was Kim’s birthday and we got all of our friends together from Boot Camp to celebrate! Color palette was predominantly orange and the thought behind the evening was “bubbles and birthday” …not so much in the kiddo bubbles (although that was the invite, pictured above) and birthday cake but in the adult version of champagne and cupcakes.

well, hello again! So, one thing about redoing furniture is that sometimes with just a little love and imagination, the most unexpected items can result the most drop dead gorgeous final pieces. It never ceases to amaze me what a little paint and new fabric can do.

santa fe is one of my favorite places to regroup. I have visited there several times and will post more in the future, about places to stay and see, but until then I’m so fortunate to be able to share this lovely casita with you.
This the home of Ka and Jan Yeung in Santa Fe. Ka is an accomplished photographer and has a beautiful aesthetic with everything he does, much with the help of his brilliant wife and stylist, Jan. They make a great team. Jan is also currently a consulting curator for the Crow Museum of Asian Art. When two people this talented get together it’s no wonder that everything they touch is beautiful.
