it’s all up hill from here! This morning I’m leaving on a jet plane with some of my favorite folks Bret, of course, (resident fab photographer), Jason (paper guru) and John (official tour guide and foodie) to drop in on the city of Seattle. We’re amused with the weather reports… as we say farewell to a rainy and mild temperatures Dallas and turn to Seattle which is apparently having an unusual heat wave and none of their usual rain (we were hoping to cool off!). That’s neither here nor there, nothing can stop our excitement. We are so looking forward to a very special treat, meeting up with one of our favorite bloggers Uncle Beefy. Both Jason and I adore him and can’t wait. Will report back with as much fun as I can gather!!
Oh, have a blast! Can’t wait to see the pictures and stories you come back with!

Eh… don’t listen to those weather reports! Heat wave? What heat wave? Please. Today’s forecast is for highs of 100º/101º. I’m fixin’ to hitch the sled dogs up and do some cross country skiing! Maybe a big bowl of soup and loads of hot chocolate! Maybe a trip to the funny farm where I’ll be the one rocking in the corner ’cause m’brain melted!!!
Yeah, Kids… it’s HOT up here ironically enough. And judging by the crew that is on its way up from Texas… it’s only gonna get hotter! Ooh! Snap!
