what a lovely week

sunset-2

to wrap this up… in a way that gives you my two cents and even more reasons to visit Santa Fe. I think the hardest thing about being here is deciding where to eat and if that’s your biggest problem you’re doing pretty darn good. There are all the usual ridiculously good suspects and I’m listing those at the very bottom but I’ve included a few in here that you should definitely visit as well as my top things you must do in Santa Fe that you MAY or may not read about in the tourist guide.

I’ve included a couple of great sunsets I photographed and thought that would be a great finale to this wonderful week. Enjoy!

- go celebrate at Zozobra
(if you are lucky enough to be here, a Santa Fe Tradition, the burning of the gloom man, once a year…but don’t go until like 6:30 or 7 and be prepared for a major crowd)

- of course, last but not least, Canyon Road
(soak up all of it, the food, the galleries, it’s the best)

I’m sure I’m leaving out a few things but these are top of my list…

Also, here’s a list of just a few of the great (do not miss) stores that I visit every time I’m in Santa Fe
- Cielo Home
- MOSS
- Nathalie
- Design Warehouse

the usual suspects that you will have a hard time deciding between:

Geronimo
El Farol
The Shed
Plaza Cafe
Pasquals
Coyote Cafe
Pink Adobe
La Casa Sena
315

AND ONE LAST HUGE TIP: deciding where to stay can always be challenging when you go anywhere. I HIGHLY recommend contacting CASAS DE SANTA FE for vacation rentals. Ask for Todd, he is wonderful and their properties are really fabulous. If you have a few minutes you should just peruse their homes…I could feature almost every one on the blog. The prices are reasonable and unbelievable locations.
