it’s a sticky situation

tape3

we need something fun… Don’t you think? It’s Wednesday, it’s overcast (AGAIN) and we need a little dabble of good times. So - I bring you, HAPPY TAPE! If you’re a big cruiser on the blogosphere you are probably familiar with these little gems. I can’t even remember where I saw this for the first time but it’s super fun and I’m wracking my brain on how to use it on a daily basis. I’ll have to get back to you on that one. But if you have not been introduced to Happy Tape then, then here you go - ENJOY!

The tape is made of Japanese washi paper. I mean, really great patterns, color and variety. I think it would be fun to do some kind of art project with it. Or maybe a cool installation? I’m sure it would be a great tool for a party. You could make little placeholders with it, hold down place mats? Maybe even give it as a favor? Dunno… I’ll keep thinking. Throw me your ideas if you have any!! You can find some great ideas on their blog.

I bought some of this tape a couple of months ago (shocker) and at first when I got it I wasn’t a fan (it was smaller in person than I had imagined) but I used some of the black and white stripes on a project this weekend and it’s good stuff! Great with letterpress! :)
