i’m a total sucker… when it comes to screen printing. I love the look of it, the smell and the way the colors just pop off, and the ability to silk screen anything! I use it all the time in my own work.
Lucky us, there are so many people just dripping with talent and who are kind enough to share of their talents through casual and at-home sales. This past weekend several of my dear friends most of which who are graphic designers at Fossil got together for a phenomenal event hosted by bee things in the huge backyard behind their mid-century home. I tweeted about it but I wanted to follow up with a post just incase you missed it and tell you where you can snag some of these treasures… (FYI… lots-o-pics)

bee things beeeautiful… I heart this owl moon over this little house.

lunch bags!!!! I would totally start taking my lunch again just so I can carry in one of these adorable creatures.

Adore these note pads on recycled chip board. Look the birdie stole the cherry on top!

Cards and calendars PERFECT for holiday…bee things is available via Etsy and they will also be at The Dallas Flea.

Buttons and origami a signature of ShayO.

I’m obsessing over this lovely and talented women, Nosheen Iqbal. SHE SEWS THROUGH WOOD. Rock on sister. It’s tactile, graphic and so charming. Look for a future full post on Nosheen… dying to share more of her work with you!! Check out her fabulously designed website here. Her work is available via Big Cartel.

And Paper Fingers is the genius outpouring of the very hip Christina Childress, designer at Switch Creative. She has an amazing sense of typography and color that’s impossible not to love. Her work is available on Etsy.

It’s so tough to say which of Christina’s pieces that day were my favorite. I think it’s a rivalry between “L is for Library” (see above) and these customizable posters with a child’s first initial and then their birthday around the edges. SO DARN PRECIOUS.

Little sneak peek at the bee things studio…and you can see the little helper Calder Barfoot tromping his way into help!

thanks for the great write-up sam!
Hi! Will you please tell your friends at Fossil how desperately they need to make a clothing store in Scottsdale? I’m quite certain I would live in all their clothes if I didn’t have to order them all from a catalog.
p.s. this entire post is adorable.
