does this look a donut to you?? I’m with ya, me neither — a chocolate dipped devil’s food donut topped so delightfully and decadently with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. WHOA.
I have passed by Yummy Donuts a million times but sadly have never stopped until last weekend with one of my dear friends and her adorable children. WHO KNEW?? If I had a clue what was in store I would have made it a point to put this on my weekend rotation a lot sooner. If you need an over the top treat pencil Yummy’s into your weekend and enjoy!!

so many lovelies all in one place… I discovered this little gem on our trip to Vancouver. Peridot is a two story home and accessories boutique filled with from floor to ceiling with all kinds of well-edited lux goods. Tons of glam everywhere, FAB lamps, chairs, mirrors… just LOVE all of it. AND you can shop the Vancouver store online!! Of course the store is FULL of greatness and it’s not all online but there is quite a bit. Enjoy!

i’m a total sucker… when it comes to screen printing. I love the look of it, the smell and the way the colors just pop off, and the ability to silk screen anything! I use it all the time in my own work.
Lucky us, there are so many people just dripping with talent and who are kind enough to share of their talents through casual and at-home sales. This past weekend several of my dear friends most of which who are graphic designers at Fossil got together for a phenomenal event hosted by bee things in the huge backyard behind their mid-century home. I tweeted about it but I wanted to follow up with a post just incase you missed it and tell you where you can snag some of these treasures… (FYI… lots-o-pics)

it’s the most wonderful time of the year…well, at least for me it is. TWO, yes TWO back to back weekends of MY FAVORITE home tours in Dallas. I know there are lots of them and there are a few others that are really good but these two are the perfect blend of inspiration both in architecture and decor. The first one is this weekend, AIA tour of Homes and the second is the Lakewood Home Festival, next weekend. The most important thing you have to know is you must do both. The AIA tour is really truly focused on architecture (as it should be) so you can soak up all that yummy goodness but honestly that isn’t attainable for so many of us. As much as I would DIE to have an ultra cool hacienda, I have to get there through my love of decor for the time being. SO the following weekend is the Lakewood tour of homes and they are typically architecturally significant but the beauty of this tour is the way they are furnished and the details in the homes that you and I could actually do (like wood beams on a ceiling or cool tile). I always feel leaving really inspired and as if I could get a little closer to that dream world. But! It’s important to dream and DREAM BIG so do both!!
Beautiful weather, beautiful homes, beautiful life!! Read more to get the details on both and see just a few of the home fronts I pulled to get your heart racing a bit!

can i buy a vowel please? Or any other letter of the alphabet. This is the bright and cheery home of Jennifer Brehm, Matchbox Studio and Flora & Fauna, that I’ve been anxiously waiting to share with you. This home is not like any of the others featured on style/SWOON thus far. As soon as you walk in you know you are in the home of an incredibly talented graphic designer is all about visually strong details and bold color with a just a touch of woman superpower. One of my favorite show stoppers of Jen’s loft is a MASSIVE letter collection ranging in size from 12″ to 5′ that is so perfectly composed on the main wall of her downtown super cool nest. Enjoy!!
