worth the wait

main

my apologies… for getting derailed this week with that whole wedding thing ;) but I promise you Vynsie Law’s home filled with vintage fabulosity was worth every moment of nail biting anticipation. Let’s just start with this little vignette of OH-SO bright and cheery happiness. YES, that wall paper is even more amazing in person. YES, that chair rocks my world too and WHERE can I get that poster??? Enjoy!

chair

The fabric on that chair… are you kidding me??? Gorgeous chair redo by the lovely Leslie at Again and Again. Bless that woman and her talent for reinvention.

One of the things I fell head over heals for in VL’s house is the black moulding everywhere. I love to find things in other people’s homes that I could feasibly adapt into my own without breaking the bank and this changes the whole mood of this adorable tudor-style home. Oh, and if I can figure out a way to get an arch like that, I’ll take that too!

Loving this little gnome friend hiding in between the art and I’m nuts about these wooden dog bookshelves Vynsie is carring at her store, We are 1976 (which I also love). They are so much fun - dogs laying down, sleeping, eating…all very blocky execution.

Vynsie I love all the pattern in your home! Did you repaint that school poster with chalkboard paint and draw the map on or did it come that way? So neat.

  4. Delicious fabrics! Hoping to start getting vintage fabrics in at CityCraft. We’re bursting at the seams as it is, but your lovely home is inspiring me to get my butt in gear :)
