i don’t even really like movies… (it’s a long time for this ‘ol girl to sit still) but Mr. Sano LOVES them. I do, however, like pretty pictures. If know you me really well you probably think it’s so funny I would even blog about a movie but this one really struck me. A couple of weeks ago we ordered one of the most gorgeous, well shot movies that I’ve ever seen, The Fall. Every frame is jaw droppingly phenomenal, like a perfect photograph, and the story is actually really sweet. I adore the little girl. It’s been a long and busy week so I’m looking forward to a little movie time this weekend. If you are in need of a little rest and relaxation combo with some breathtaking cinematography — then my weekend suggestion for you is to grab this awe-inspiring movie unwind, enjoy and soak up the beauty.

Okay, this is huge, people. Sam is NOT a movie person, so for her to actually want to see it for a third time and blog about it…. that should tell you something. I recommend turning on subtitles for the girl’s adorable, yet heavily-accented dialogue. Every frame is a work of art, and the story unfolds organically in an un-Hollywood way which is nice. Well done!
This film is one of my favorites as well. The little girl’s performance (or perfectly natural non-performance perhaps) is enthralling.
