there’s just not enough snail mail these days… well, the good kind anyway. Bills, bills, bills, I hear ya. I digress. Ever since my calligraphy class I have been embracing more and more the idea of handwritten notes. It’s fun to receive cool mail whether it’s a fab invitation or a letter. But handwritten notes are especially rare and thus both charming and endearing…especially when a really busy person takes the time (which is honestly most of the handwritten ones I receive - how do they do it all?). Handwritten cards make me feel special and even more so if they are from someone I adore. I was crusing Etsy the other day for Valentine’s ideas and I will do a FULL post on that next week on all kinds of handmade goodies but I came across this absolutely gorgeous one by Hello Handmade Paperie. To die for, and thought wouldn’t it be so nice if I wrote my husband a love letter? Don’t know if he would think so but I think it’s sweet and old fashioned (and would look cool framed…yes?). Now for the bad news — I pulled this story on Monday and it sold out the same day! I KNOW!!!!?? Such a shame. So you’ll have to work up your own little bit of lovely or if you can wait until after the 14th then the lovely ladies of Hello Handmade Paperie (Betsy and Shanna) can craft one of these beauties for you.
Have a great weekend and I’ll be living up to my 14 days of posting so check back.
(AND I TOTALLY forgot to mention the Dallas Art Fair this weekend. Must. Go. Not to be missed.)
