um, excuse me… Can I live here?? I’ve hardly been able to sleep since I saw this house. VERY excited to share it with you today. This is the home of the lovely home-obsessed Silka Sanchez who is OCD about interiors as I am. She and her sister-in-law, Theresa, can talk for hours about where to put something (love that about them). She’s one of “our people.” What’s funny to me is she’s not really into the blog-o-sphere. More ebay!? Ebay intimidates me but this motivates me to suck it up and get shopping. Hope you LOVE LOVE LOVE this as much as I do and it leaves you with visions of vintage sugarplums dancing in your head! Stay tuned for Theresa’s home to appear in a few weeks!

OK, just to pause for a second and say…could this be any more perfect? These are photos of Silka’s family and that little moss ball…are you kidding me? Simple. Genius.

I know, TWO picks of the unicorn??? Yes, it was that good. And these chairs…that’s what keeping me up at night. Ebay find. YUP. That’s what I said. Gotta get shopping.

Theresa’s got great wallpaper all through her house… and I’m not giving it enough credit but you can see that GORGEOUS chandelier (similar to the one in Rebecca Sherman’s home from last week).

I’m in love with this mirror… I don’t know if I every would have picked it but now I MUST HAVE.

Couldn’t get a great shot of this lucite bar table table but had to share…lucite, sigh…

Hallway of photos (taken by Silka - did I mention she’s a photographer hobbyist) of friends and family… all totally amazing.

Again with the great mirror and EBAY!! Oh, and of course we love the pup!!

Silka and I share the same fondness of paintings/drawings of women. Aren’t they stunning? Love you ladies!

Bret and I are redoing our bathrooms and kitchen so I’m fixated on tile at the moment. Loved the way her tiled kitchen countertops sparkle?! Don’t you?? Who would have thought? They were original to the house and she thought about ripping them out but friends convinced her not to. Good decision.

Dreaming big for a screened in porch to sip my wine on one day…for the moment I’ll just live vicariously through Silka.

And finally we arrive at her domain… adorable upstairs, great wallpaper, love all the furnishings. Perfectly pretty.

I don’t even think I need to say it but L.O.V.E.

what a spectacular house! not my style, but well done ma’am! a little more liveable, less pretentious and totally accessible take on the k.wearstler/h-wood glam aesthetic.
i want to see a better pic of that amazing painting over her sofa! got any outtakes?
i love the dressing area! I too, have vintage wig stands and random wigs and tiarras laying about- so fun for house cleaning! and lastly- the yellow shoe shelves. perfect!
