really good gift stores are rare… If you’re lucky enough to even find them they should be coveted and rewarded. Shopping for gifts can be tough but if you go with the “if I like it they will too” philosophy that usually works. Some people are really good at gift giving and I envy those people. This is one of my favorite gift stores, sloan/hall, sadly for me only in San Antonio and Houston but that just makes me look forward to next visits. Take a peek inside the beautiful world of sloan/hall. The owners have an amazing eye and have a knack for seeking out the rare and special things that can elevate your gift giving level to greatness.

Great, great, collection of rare books… the jewelry will blow you away. Very unique, interesting and bizarre (my fav!).

And now the gifts…

I’m sure you have seen this series of plates by Wayland Gregory but they are truly stunning aren’t they? I could do a whole post on Wayland Gregory’s collection. L-O-V-E my friends.

I don’t even have to say how much I love this White biscuit porcelain Rhino do I??

Amazing OLD trunks…and small sculpture both beautiful and jarring.

TONS of great smellies… and sweet little wishbones.

Although I would position them as a high style boutique, I can not go without telling you that if you need something to make someone laugh like a metallic bunny or a meatball bubble gum…look no further.

They have the best cards, candles and jewelry selection in Houston. Every time I go in there is something new and amazing to gawk at. Love S/H. :)
I love this place. Not only because it’s in my old ‘hood, but they have the craziest art and photography books.
So many beautiful things! The perfect place for mother’s day shopping!!
