national treasure… Warning: this is going to be opulence and beauty overload of heavenliness. A few weeks ago I went to a SFERRA event at Ceylon et Cie to see Ronda Carman of All the Best blog and had the pleasure of finally meeting Michelle Nussbaumer for the first time. Michelle is a Dallas-based designer and is a true rockstar on an international level. She was just featured on 1st Dibs Style Compass, you must read it here. Fascinating. Ceylon et Cie is her store in the Design District but is open to the public and every drop of it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The store is open to the public so please - go in, indulge yourself. You will LOVE.
Have a GREAT long holiday weekend!!

Serious goodness here people. Eyes wide open friends…There’s so much in every shot I can’t even begin to elaborate. I hope the photos will kind of do this store some kind of justice. As you may have figured out, I love to shop. I love new stores, new places. I have to say what’s so great is almost every time I travel I throughly enjoy all the new but Dallas has some really great shopping for home decor. I know, I’m a junkie but just had to say. Thankful to people like Michelle who give the city so much depth and the place I live in so much more interesting.

Whew! I know, I know… yes, love, envy, jealousy… all of it. I hear ya. Well, the more you know about Michelle the more you will adore her and not just the store. Below are a couple of products she has started making. I’m particularly OBSESSED with the marble claw on the lucite. Do you love it?!?!?

And then this is a gorgeous stack of ikat fabrics that Michelle is working on. Truly stunning.

And last but absolutely not least her office, complete with a HUGE Henry Moore painting and a series of four Salvador Dali drawings. Photo of Michelle below, isn’t she lovely?? Thank you to Michelle for her time, talent and beautiful soul.

she is a rock star, love her style
I’m loving absolutely everything - and I mean everything! I have to stop by and see it all.
Did you see the Calcite gold rocks she has on lucite? Saw them months ago and still thinking about them. L-o-v-e.
The first pic alone made me gasp and swoon! I gotta get me down to Dallas some kinda way! If Elizabeth Berkley can have a career after “Showgirls” then surely there is a way I can figure out how to get myself to Texas! ;)
Deliciously gorgeous, Sam! Thanks for sharin’! :)
Cute store! I will have to make time to go there. :)
This is killing me! I live in California!! Oh, those side tables with the Greek Key detail!
