armas awesomeness

jos

it all started… with this painting with Joslyn’s house and ever since I’m on board. I wasn’t familiar with Michelle Armas (apparently I’m one of the few) then but now I adore her. Recently I saw this on my “incoming links” which I honestly rarely look at but this time I was thrilled and flattered. Michelle is an artist and a graphic designer. Her sense of color is beautiful and unexpected. I feel like I discover more every time I look at each work of hers and I could design entire rooms around her paintings. See below to find out more about the painting Michelle did recently that was partially inspired by Judy’s house! How fun is that??! And a few more pieces that I’m dying for. I am smitten with her tiny paintings. Buy them or other larger ones here.

dwell with dignity - blog for digs

blogfordigs_larger

oh to be a kid again… today (and ps - I’m a date late on posting this!) I’m sharing with you “my childhood bedroom was” — it’s in honor of blog for digs, a fundraiser initiated by claudia cobes of stonehouselove and beth dotolo from hello splendor to raise awareness for Dwell with Dignity. As a participating blogger, our challenge is to help create a progressive blog chain to raise awareness by answering the statement “My childhood bedroom was…” It was a little tough to remember and I certainly don’t have any gorgeous photos but with the help of my parents we pieced together the progression of my bedroom through the years. All of the posts were great for this effort but check out a couple here and here that I thought were way groovy. My recollection and aspirations are below. Here’s one I just loved…

A swing, that you can swing AND chill in? I want one of those now please. found here

If you would like to help with Dwell, become a member. Donations of goods are wonderful but DWD is growing so fast funds are needed to put organization in place to continue to grow and make the most of Dwell with Dignity. There are very low memberships and any thing is appreciated. Thank you in advance to all who join and support Dwell with Dignity!
