In LOVE… with these skateboards. And I’m pretty sure a skateboard has never turned my head. EVER. Check them out here.
I think they would make killer artwork in a house?? via Honestly WTF

how fun… a while back Gillian Stevens from Dewdrop ordered several paintings from The Summer Project and then asked if I wanted to be featured in an online “show” on the “In Our Travels” section. So for one week only (until next Tuesday!!) a few select Summer Project paintings will be available on Dewdrop here for $50 less than they are on The Summer Project (Fun, right?!). See below for a few of the gorgeous paper products that I also just LOVE from Dewdrop.
Enjoy and thank you Gillian!

i’m on a kick folks… Kilim, Dhurrie, Ikat, Old rugs of any kind. All of it. Can’t. Stop. Kinda weaning myself off the Ikat but everything else, forget about it. Just getting started. So in an effort to get it out of my system I thought I would share with you. Happy shopping!

put this on your list… of places you should visit. With most of my family being from and living in Kansas, I’ve driven through Oklahoma my whole life. A couple of weeks ago we went to visit my grandfather and we spent the night in Oklahoma City. On our way out of town we stopped at the Oklahoma City Memorial (strangely it just so happened to be the week before the 10 year anniversary of 9.11). It was so moving and beautiful I wanted to share it and encourage you to stop if you ever have the chance. It’s incredibly informative while being appropriate and brilliantly peaceful. These photos certainly don’t do the memorial or the experience justice. Please read more about the design process and each of the thoughtfully executed details here. The memorial was designed by Butzer Design Partnership based out of Oklahoma City. You are welcome to check out a few more photos we took below.

you know what i’m sayin’… A little bit of beautiful typographic inspiration on a crazy Tuesday — from me to you. I hope for both of our sake it’s all true. xo
