life is just nuts… in a good way and I have so much to catch up on here on the blog so stay tuned. At the moment I’m in Austin staying at Hotel San Jose (YAY!) for a wedding so will have to report back next week. BUT I had to pop in to share with you that my dear friend Joslyn is one of nine amazing bloggers who are participating in a One Kings Lane “Design-Blogger Tag Sale” starting TONIGHT! They have curated and purchased pieces to sell and if you know Joslyn, you’ll be on there at 6pm sharp!

Happy shopping!!

thrift studio opens

thrift

scratch that… Friday night the crowd of designers, supporters and friends blew the doors off of Thrift Studio. Over 200 people attended the opening. It was fantastic and insane. Merch was literally flying out of their, I tried a few times to put my space back together but it was just too nuts. For those of you who haven’t heard Dwell with Dignity launched it’s first ever pop-up shop on Friday evening. I wrote it up in FD Luxe so please go here for ALL the details of who, what, when and why. Below are a few pictures of the designers lovely vignettes pre-crazy-launch party: Carolina V. Gentry and Beth Detolo of Pulp Design Studios, William Baker of Jones Baker, Abbe Fenimore of Studio Ten 25, Emily Johnston of Material Girls and myself. All of the pieces were pulled from the DWD warehouse. A few were reconstructed by the designers but for the most part it was straight from Dwell. Amazing huh??

I know, you’re panicking that all the good stuff is gone… Don’t worry, I popped by this morning to pay for my goodies and there’s still a TON of great stuff and more coming every day. If you haven’t been already, check it out at 1616 Hi Line. Congratulations to all involved!!
