steele magnolias
today i’m thrilled to share with you… a long overdue home tour – the home of one of my favorite people in the world, my best friend Sarah. Steele is her last name (she married into it, I think it’s very soap opera fabulous, don’t you?). Her interior style is gorgeously polished and classic but layered and collected. She loves art, reclaimed furniture and definitely light heavenly colors I like to think of as Hamptons-esque. She and I love to watch movies like Something’s Gotta Give over and over (thank goodness for Google), not just for Diane and Jack but we LOVE the house. It’s wholly tailored and serenely laid back at the same time. Welcome to the Steele household…
bret’s new office
i love being sneaky… and last week/weekend I decided to decorate my husband’s office for his birthday. His company, Caliber Creative, just moved to a new space and Bret has been asking me for two months to help him pull it together. After spending the last part of my week running like a crazy, painting, recovering, shipping and shopping, on Sunday afternoon I totally surprised him with a whole new office. So fun. Love the surprises.

have you seen… the FD Luxe iPad app???? It’s seriously rockin’. If you have an iPad you MUST check it out. It’s gorgeous. Kudos to Kyle Kearbey and the FD team that worked on the launch.
