whew!!! Just came back from buzzing through a warp speed shopathon with one of my favorite people, Judy Aldridge. We are working on her home…stay tuned friends. It will blow your socks off, I promise. So before I run out to the next meeting, I quickly found this image on ffffound and felt that it was representative of our “Amazing Race” day of all things glamourous and vintage. Don’t you love?

it’s lovely outside… We are all so ready for the weather to stay like this for a few days. Seems like the perfect day to grab lunch outside and the perfect time to share with you this series of photos I’ve been saving from the very gifted Manny Rodriguez of a very simple, very beautiful tree.
Enjoy and happy Tuesday!

so beautiful it hurts… By now you may have picked up on my love affair with the new lower Greenville boutique, Bows and Arrows, but what I have kept from you is my FAVORITE thing about this little gem. THE FLOWERS. OH. MY. My latest write up in FD Luxe hit the stands today and it’s a short feature on the gorgeous talents of Alicia Rico. I’m truly head over heals for these beauties. AMAZING, I tell you.
Read the full story here about Alicia’s work and classes they are offering (yes, I will be taking one so stay tuned for that!) and see below for more shots from the photo shoot.

Have a great Monday! A few more images of mouse patterns below from Flowing Data.

with a little help from our friends… (Wedding No. 4) A few years back, I, along with several other good friends helped throw a wedding for Shay Ometz and Jeff Barfoot, owners of Bee Things. I asked them to dig up the photos so I could share them with you. We are all designers and love to throw parties so we knew we could pull off this cute little backyard shindig. The bride wore green and thus set the tone for the whole evening. Hope you enjoy!
