make a note… places to be, people to see and stuff to do! First of all, big exciting buzz is TEDxSMU this weekend and The Studio designed all of the collateral for this year (see it here) so we will be there Saturday with 500 other luckies gettin’ our inspiration on. If you are feeling the need to shop and get REALLY good Christmas then head over to the Dallas Flea! (yay!) and the Missing Q Press Holiday Sale. Details on both below. Have a fantastic weekend friends. xo

austin is always amazing… it’s an easy target. When we were in Austin we stopped by the new local of Big Red Sun. I SO wish we had a Big Red Sun here in Dallas. I am a SUCKER for a succulent and I love the design of BRS and unfortunately they don’t work too far outside of Austin. If you live in the vicinity, consider yourself lucky. Take a peek inside this green goodness.

catching up… Good gracious it has been a busy fall. We have been in and out of town every other weekend since August and will continue to be. I do not want to not get TOO behind on trying to share with you fun places that we have been and you should visit if you can. First up, TULSA, OKLAHOMA. One of my good friends is from there but it’s really Jane and Judy (thank you very much) that got me to stop there and really enjoy it on my way back from Kansas. Tulsa is hip, full of art, art deco architecture, good food, hills, lakes, sunshine and oh yeah, just all around beauty. It will surprise you.
*Funny, I just looked up “Tulsa Time” on Wikipedia and it said that in the 1950’s Time Magazine dubbed Tulsa as “America’s Most Beautiful City.” **Be sure to check out this post via Judy for additional details esp if you are a vintage fashion shopper.

i’m sure… lots of people are over antlers but not me, I still can always find a place in my heart (or home) for them. Just happened upon these hand painted lovelies and feel my love affair reignited.
Ooh la la. La tee da. Happy Thursday y’all!
